We are seeking an experienced Senior Systems Support Technologist to join our Engineering - Business Development - Technology Solutions team! This is an exciting opportunity in a unique field!

What you will be doing:
Performs strategic planning and support services as part of the System Architecture and Product Development team within Commercial Business Development. Duties include expert technical support for Business Development activities, Customer and Tradeshow demonstrations, and strategic product planning including innovation and standardization initiatives.

Education

• Successful completion of secondary school and completion of a full time post-secondary 3 year program in electronics technology at a recognized institution or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience

• Extensive experience in installation, configuration, administration and supporting of Linux and/or Microsoft Windows Operating Systems as well as ATM server and workstations applications.
• Experience in the life cycle support of deployed safety critical systems including the development and modification of installation and user documentation for new or existing systems including testing and verification.
• Experience in the coordination of small to medium sized projects and external customer interaction.
• Extensive technical experience on IIDS/EXCDS/NARDS or INTAS including supporting systems such as ONLINE and WARP systems.

Knowledge

• Knowledge of the operations and architecture of systems, computers, workstations and software, hardware and interconnection configurations.
• Knowledge of engineering & operation processes and procedures for software and hardware development, implementation and life-cycle management.
• General knowledge of project management techniques tools and processes. Including contract / procurement processes.
• Knowledge of ATC or similar operations, business functions including International customers, competitors, suppliers and partners in the ATM industry.

Abilities

• Ability to work independently with minimal direction or supervision at customer sites.
• Ability to analyze, evaluate, and develop solutions to problems relating to: new requirements and existing systems / equipment; the impact of new systems / equipment and projects on existing systems / equipment; problems encountered during implementation of a new project; and, problems related to equipment and related specialized software beyond site expertise.
• Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively orally and in writing with management, colleagues and stakeholders.
• Ability to travel to international locations and working on site.
• Ability to set priorities and organize work
